T Level - Digital Production, Design and Development

Entry Criteria:
– Five GCSE’s at Grade 4 or above
– One of the five to be GCSE Mathematics at Grade 4 or above.

Coursework/Examination Requirements:
The knowledge and understanding of the core units will be assessed
by examinations and an employer set project. The occupational specialism will be an assessment by an
externally set project.

After completing this course you will be able to progress into a Digital Apprenticeship, Higher Education or a career as a Software Developer
(Programmer), Games Developer, Web Designer, IT Business Analyst, Systems Developer, Applications Support Analyst, Mobile App Developer or Digital Marketer.

You will gain part certification of the BCS RITTech certification, free student membership of the BCS for four years and industry experience through
your one-day a week work placement.

T Level Qualification:
This course is equivalent to three A Levels and is a two-year specialist work related programme of study that covers the key knowledge and
practical skills required for the digital world. This course combines classroom theory, practical learning and industry experience. You will learn a curriculum which
has been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses which underpins most employments in the digital industry and the specialist skills required in
design, production and development.

You will study a range of digital related topics and as part of your specialism you will have the opportunity to:
– Analyse a problem to define requirements
– Design, implement (Program) and test software
– Change, maintain and support software
– Create solutions in a social and collaborative environment
– Apply ethical principles when developing software

If you choose to take this course, you will develop transferable technical and practical skills in communication (working with colleagues, customers and clients),
